We had some great sightings during the month and here are some we would like to share with you.
We have kicked off the year with some great sightings. We are so lucky to have shared these sightings with guests from all over the world. Here are some of our highlights from January.
This month the rain has started (nice and early this year). Everything has started turning green again and any day now we will start to see the babies. Here are some highlights from October that we would like to share with you.
Every Game drive in the Pilanesberg is different, as guides we drive through the gate and never know exactly what is going to happen. This all adds to the excitement as we head out on a game drive. The sightings lately have really been great as the park has been quite dry making it easier to spot animals, especially around waterholes. Here are some sightings highlights from the last month.
On the 8 September while out on one of our exclusive game drives in the Pilanesberg National Park field guide Tarryn Rae and her guests came across a male leopard that had decided there was only one way to get across the river…
After making it to the other side of the river he decided to cross the road close to the safari vehicle before disappearing leaving everyone thinking “wow what a sighting”!
It is not the first time that a leopard has been seen on these rocks in the river, here is a video that was taken about a year ago at this exact spot.
